BENEFITS OF OUR TELEHEALTH PROGRAM INCLUDE:

MORE FLEXIBILITY

Sometimes life gets busy, but you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your mental health because of this. If you have transportation issues, live outside the Boston metro area, or can’t fit our in-person programs into your daily schedule, our telehealth services can support your continued growth and progress.

SAME CLINICAL BENEFITS AS IN-PERSON CARE

You’ll still have access to structured support and continuity of care with our team of licensed professionals providing evidence-based therapy modalities.

PRIVATE AND SECURE

Telehealth video conferencing is conducted on secure platforms and is HIPAA-compliant.

Our Mental Health Day Treatment Program Also Includes:

MEALS PROVIDED

All of our clients enjoy a continental-style breakfast, plus drinks and snacks. Participants are also served a delicious hot lunch. We partner with local eateries to provide tasty and balanced meals that our youth enjoy.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Adolescents (ages 12-18) in our full-day treatment programs get 1.5 hours of academic tutoring every day. Our licensed teaching staff liaise with your child’s school to ensure they keep up with their coursework and homework.

TELEHEALTH OPTIONS

We offer therapy sessions for all of our programs via video sessions. However, on a long-term basis, we recommend that teens participate in person, as this helps them connect more deeply for a complete therapeutic experience.

How can I balance treatment with my work or school commitments while getting help for my eating disorders?

We offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that is specifically designed to be flexible enough to work around your schedule. We offer evening and weekend therapy sessions to fit around your work, school, or other personal commitments.

What does treatment for eating disorders typically involve?

This will depend on the severity of your symptoms and circumstances. However, typically eating disorder treatment includes a combination of psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, family-based therapy), nutritional counseling, medical monitoring, and, if needed, medication.

What if I have eating disorders but need help with substance abuse as well?

At Kiwi Recovery, we understand that eating disorders often co-occur with substance use and other mental health conditions. That’s why we provide integrated treatment that addresses all aspects of your well-being—physical, emotional, and behavioral—for a truly comprehensive path to recovery.

How long does eating disorder treatment take?

Treatment length varies by individual. Some may benefit from short-term support, while others need long-term care. Full recovery can take months or even years, but improvement is possible at every stage, and we will create a treatment plan unique to your needs and goals.

Can someone fully recover from an eating disorder?

Absolutely. While recovery looks different for everyone and may include setbacks, many people achieve full recovery with the right support and treatment. After you complete treatment at Kiwi, we will provide you with aftercare support to help your recovery journey.
