Substance Abuse IOP in Boston

Access Flexible Treatment and Sustainable Sobriety

Our substance abuse IOP in Boston is designed to help individuals overcome their addictions, build emotional resilience, and achieve lifelong recovery with personalized care and therapy.

Our Substance Abuse IOP Treatment Program Is Here For You

Our substance abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a structured level of care without the need for residential treatment. As a step down from full-day programming, it’s ideal for individuals ready to move toward greater independence in their recovery journey.

At Kiwi Recovery, our IOP typically includes three to five treatment sessions per week, each lasting three to five hours. This flexible schedule allows clients to maintain their daily responsibilities while actively applying the coping strategies and therapeutic tools they've gained in treatment to real-life situations.

Substance Abuse IOP Treatment Hours

Kiwi Recovery currently offers two tracks of the IOP program:

Adolescent IOP: Monday-Friday 9:00am – 12pm

Young Adult IOP: Monday-Friday 9:00am – 12pm

Our Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program Also Includes:

MEALS PROVIDED

Clients are treated to a continental-style breakfast along with a variety of drinks and snacks throughout the day. A freshly prepared hot lunch is also served daily. We collaborate with local restaurants to offer nutritious, well-balanced meals that appeal to young tastes.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Our adolescent clients (ages 12–18) enrolled in our full-day treatment programs receive 1.5 hours of academic tutoring each day. Our certified educators coordinate directly with your child’s school to help them stay on track with assignments and classwork.

TELEHEALTH OPTIONS

Virtual therapy sessions are available for all programs through secure video conferencing. While remote access offers flexibility, we encourage in-person participation for long-term treatment, as it fosters deeper engagement and connection in the therapeutic process.
